The distinction between gestalt and other forms of psychotherapy emanates from the gestalt therapist's ability to enable the client to experience rather than merely talk about experience.
In this workshop you are invited to learn about Gestalt Therapy, observe or participate in a live demonstration of the work, and meet with present trainees.
The Training Program
Schedule: Three hours on alternate Tuesday evenings from October through April, three Saturday workshops, and a weekend intensive. Cost: $1500 per year. Location: 1055 Lenox Road, Richmond, Massachusetts (near Stockbridge in the Berkshires) Dr. Rachel Brier, director of the Institute, is a graduate of Adelphi School of Social Work and the Columbia University doctoral program in Family and Community Education. Dr. Brier served as associate trainer at Gestalt Associates of New York for five years and as therapist, supervisor, and clinical director of the DeSisto at Stockbridge School for twelve years.
